Arrests in Concord Oct. 26 to Nov. 1: Rape, Warrants, Drunks

This snapshot from the Concord Police Department tallies the 55 arrests in the past week by type of charge and the arrestee's city of residence. Last week, arrests for public drunkenness went up and there was one rape charge.

The following information is taken from the Concord Police Department's weekly arrest report. Names and full addresses have been omitted for privacy reasons. An arrest does not represent a conviction until determined in court.

How many arrests were there this week? There were 55 arrests listed in the Concord Police Department's report for Oct. 26 to Nov. 1, compared to 57 in the previous week.

Who was arrested? A total of 28 arrestees were from Concord, making up the majority of arrests, followed by transients with 16 arrests and out-of-towners with 11 arrests. 

What they were arrested for? The charges with the highest number of arrests were warrants (11), being drunk and disorderly (9), DUIs (5) and being under the influence of a controlled substance (5).
