Arrests in Concord Nov. 9 to Nov. 15: DUIs, Fighting and Prostitution

How many arrests were there this week? There were 52 arrests listed in the Concord Police Department's report for Nov. 9 to Nov. 15, compared to 65 in the previous week.
Who was arrested? A total of 29 arrestees were from Concord, down from last week's tally of 43 and making up the majority of arrests, followed by out-of-towners with 15 arrests and transients with eight arrests.

What they were arrested for? The charges with the highest number of arrests were for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol (8), possession of narcotic drugs (7) and warrants (5). There was also three arrests for residential burglary, three for public drunkenness and two for fighting. One person was arrested for illegally carrying a firearm and one suspect was charged with prostitution.
