Bike lanes in downtown Concord

Why aren't there any? I mean talk about not being "GREEN" Concord! It's hard enough riding on the road with the traffic, but without any bike lanes, it's dangerous!! Plus the cars don't look out for bikes ( Thanks a lot!!) I was RUN OFF the road by a car on Galindo crossing Cowell a couple of weeks ago when it was raining. A truck came into the parking area, and was still driving, I had no where to go but out and down!! I tell you, the next car that gets that close to me, well I'll have your photo, and license plate and report you. We try to hug the side of the road, when there is more then two lanes, why crowd us riding our bikes? Please be more considerate , and watch out for us.
