Concord, Clayton Death Notices

Ronald Niels Carlberg: A resident of Concord, Carlberg was a U.S. Army veteran who worked as a draftsman and project manager in the water treatment, petrochemical and chemical industries. He passed away on June 27 at the age of 76.

Patricia Ann Acuna: A resident of Clayton, Acuna worked at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory. She also worked as an office manager for a Pittsburg doctor and as an administrative assistant for the teachers union in the Contra Costa Community College District. Acuna passed away on July 5 at the age of 67.

David Schaffer: A resident of Concord, Schaffer graduated from Concord High School in 1976. He worked for 13 years for Federal Express. He passed away on June 28 at the age of 55.

Marian Coons: A resident of Concord, Coons will be remembered by family and friends at a service on July 23.  She passed away on June 26 at the age of 93.

Betty L. Bonnano: A resident of San Jose, Bonnano was a graduate of Mt. Diablo High School in Concord.  Bonnano was born in Pleasant Hill and attended Diablo Valley College. Among her many jobs, Bonnano was the first female auditor for Contra Costa County. She passed away on July 10 at the age of 77.
