Patricia Louise Holte-Edwards (born May 24, 1944), better known for her song bird voice and one of the elite members of the singing group ‘Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles’ has mesmerized and dazzled audiences all around the world. With some of her chart topping hits like; Lady Marmalade, On My Own, If You Asked Me To, Stir It Up, If Only You Knew, and You Are My Friend. Mrs. Edwards being a native of Philadelphia like so many other groups (Butlers/Frankie Beverly and Maze, The Delfonics, The Stylistics and The Spinners). Is more than a conqueror of illness and losing all three of sisters to cancer I would have to say Mrs. Patricia Edwards has earned her keep and her place in lime light of life. Most people do not know that Mrs. Patti is the God mother of Mariah Carey and the devoted mother of five children four that she adopted.
Mrs. Patti loves to cook and has learned how to overcome diabetes through proper diet and exercise not to mention it helps her look clamorous, young, and fabulous at all times. Being an advocate for breast cancer and diabetes this woman is a true humanitarian who cares for what I would say is the foster child, by adopting her sister’s two children and her neighbors’ two children who passed away from pneumonia. She has released several books on cooking and life which are full-filling within there own right. What does her fans want to see from Mrs. Patti for the future? More attitude and more real music!
