Photo of the Week Contest: Submit Your Best Pictures

We were looking for the past week's best news photograph on Clayton Patch — and realized it was taken in Walnut Creek. (That's it above, with the gusher that resulted when two vehicles and a fire hydrant came to blows.)

This week we'd like to feature some great photos from Clayton. If you have pictures of Clayton people, places, plants or critters you'd like to share, upload them here. Just click on the "submit photos and video" button and follow the simple instructions. Be sure to include your name and information about where the photo was taken. Photographs of children may be submitted only by the child's parent or legal guardian.

We'll feature your photos next weekend and name a local "photographer of the week." No prizes, but plenty of bragging rights!

You retain the rights to your photos, although they may be used again by Patch.
