LA CLINICA TO CELEBRATE OPENING OF NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART HEALTH CLINIC WITH COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
La Clínica de la Raza will hold a Community Open House on April 12th at 5:30 pm to celebrate the opening of its new health care facility in Concord. The new facility will provide quality health care for low-income and uninsured children and adults in Contra Costa County. The 17,000-square-foot clinic – La Clínica Monument – replaces a 5,000-square-foot facility in Pleasant Hill and is expected to serve more than 15,000 patients annually.
The Community Open House Celebration will include a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a community celebration featuring food, live entertainment and tours of the new facility.
The facility includes expanded medical, dental and vision services as well as health education, chronic disease management and senior services. The clinic also provides preventive care to the uninsured and underinsured population to help reduce unnecessary and non-reimbursable emergency room visits.
