ABOUT STAGE DOOR CONSERVATORY
Stage Door Conservatory will be holding four popular summer camps (Kids on Stage, On Broadway, Teens on Stage and Backstage) in musical theater this coming summer. Our programs begin June 23 and end August 17.
Stage Door Conservatory’s camp programs offer an enriched, supportive and often profoundly memorable experience for children interested in developing and expressing themselves as young actors and theater artists. Based in North Berkeley at 1953 Hopkins Street, our camps focus on the creation and performance of a play, including two full-length Broadway productions for our older participants. This year, On Broadway (grades 5 - 10) will present Disney’s CAMP ROCK: The Musical and Teens on Stage (grades 8 - 12) will present CARRIE: The Musical while Kids on Stage (grades 2-6) will perform plays like Free to be -- You and Me, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Kabuki Gift.

Children love their experiences at Stage Door Conservatory -- not only for the training and performance opportunities we provide, but our emphasis on creating a supportive, nurturing and deeply engaging atmosphere for learning. Suitable for both children new to theater and experienced actors, our camps offer an inspirational opportunity to learn the arts of acting, singing, dancing, costuming and stage and set design, as well as to become part of a supportive, engaging creative community. CAMPS
