"The Book of Liz" is a gentle take off of cloistered religious orders. Involved in this satirical frolic is Sister Elizabeth Donderstock of the Squeamish Community. Sister Donderstock makes the most delicious cheese balls available in the area. They are both traditional and smokey and sustain her entire Clusterhaven religious community. She feels unappreciated by her Squeamish brethren and one day goes missing. Her experiences in the outside world, and the unique characters she meets comprise the comical crux of this play by the Sedaris's.

Directed by Edwin Peabody, actors include Beth Chastain as Sister Elizabeth and Randall Nott as Reverend Tollhouse. Other Clusterhaven residents are Joesph Hirsch as Brother Brightbee and Helen Means as Sister Butterworth.

Cockney speaking Ukrainian immigrants are played by Ryan Terry and Allison Means McKinney. Rounding out the cast and playing various characters are Mya Ewing Guitron, Don Tamblyn, Mark Barry and Dawn Day Lenz.
