Help Save Mount Diablo plant natives and enhance Marsh Creek

Plant the trees, grasses and shrubs that will provide habitat for rare and unusual wildlife! Water is scarce in California so healthy creeks are vital to our local ecosystems. Join the Diablo Restoration team restoring the upland floodplain at our Marsh Creek 4 property by expanding areas of native plants along Marsh Creek. Bring water, a snack, a hand trowel, your favorite planting tool, a pick and gloves if you have them. Be sure to dress in layers and bring a rain jacket. Long pants and sturdy shoes are required. We’ll be working rain or shine. We’ll have some snacks, but bring a lunch if you’re able to participate into the afternoon.

RSVP is required so we know how many people to expect to gphillips@savemountdiablo.org or 925-947-3535.
