East Bay USA: Leading the Region Toward a Sustainable Future

East Bay USA is one of the premier annual business events in the East Bay, and each year offers an outstanding half-day program focused on both the region and the national economic and political landscape followed by a dinner banquet. This year, our morning panels will discuss alternative transportation and the role of new technology in our region, with a lunch keynote presentation on venture capital and getting technology to the market by Randy Haykin of Outlook Ventures. In the evening, Geoff Colvin, editor-at-large of Fortune Magazine, will present and lead a discussion.

Other featured speakers include Christopher Thornberg, founder of Beacon Economics; Chris Hedden and Michael Fischer, principals at Cambridge Systematics; Chris Weeks, transportation coordinator at Sunset Development/Bishop Ranch; Randy Iwasaki, executive director, Contra Costa Transportation Authority; Rich Stump founder, FATHOM Studios; Ulrik Grape vice president, SEEO; Sean Chang, enterprise architect, The Clorox Company; Ken Maxey, director, government affairs, Comcast California. Emcee is Ann Notarangelo of KPIX Channel 5 News.
