CREEKSIDE ARTS 2014! "Mount Diablo...Rising from the Ashes", The Clayton Community Library celebrates it's 19th Birthday at FREE weekend festival...

Creekside Arts 2014! "Mount Diablo...Rising from the Ashes" All ages are invited to this FREE weekend of festivities on March 21 (6-8:30), March 22 (10-6pm) & March 23 (12-5pm).

This annual benefit highlights Mount Diablo and the recent fire and regeneration on our mountain at Morgan Territory Road. Join us as a community and celebrate recovery,
renewal and restoration at this FREE fundraising benefit as we
creatively explore the arts, culture and nature while supporting
environmental education programs in the library’s certified

creekside wildlife habitat. Interactive entertainment for all ages,
include workshops in visual & performing arts, art sales,
cultural performances, storytelling, poetry, authors, illustrators
and music, environmental education groups and guided nature, culture
and art tours throughout Clayton.

* FRIDAY (6-8:30pm)-“OPENING RECEPTION”, mini sampling of ART for sale, art demo's & awards, music, silent auction, light refreshments…

6:30 p.m. – "Annie & friend", our "live" animal mascot dog & pony, owner Faith Taylor, Snowfire Ranch. Come see Annie do her part to raise funds for the library! Watch artists paint them during "live" demo's.: Seema Mahboob, Walnut Creek Civic Arts, oils-palette knife, Samantha McNally, CA Watercolor Assoc.






















































































































































7:00 p.m. – LA DI DA, a cappella group, Lucy Williams, Mary Martin, Diane Copp, Rose Jensen

7:30 p.m. – Presentation of Art Awards, juried by The Bedford Gallery, CA Writer's Guild, Art Concepts Inc., and Arts & Culture Commission of Contra Costa County.
