Tickets for popular Hawaiian Fusion event on sale now

Aloha!  The 12th Annual Hawaiian Fusion fundraising event will take place on Friday, Sept. 6 at Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Road.  Tickets are on sale now.  The event is always a sellout, so early ticket purchase is advised.  Proceeds support programs at the Concord Senior Center.

This taste of Hawai'i includes an authentic buffet dinner and performance by the multi-talented recording artist Nathan Aweau.  Aweau has receive the Na Hoku Hanonhano award for "Male Vocalist of the Year" three times as well as gaining distinction within the Hawaiian music industry as a vocalist and internationally acclaimed performer.

Tickets are $48 per person or $450 for a table of ten.  All seats are reserved.  The ticket price includes a lavish Hawaiian buffet dinner of island favorites such as kalua pork, laulau, teriyaki chicken, lomi salmon, and poi.

Ballroom doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a no-host bar.  Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. A Hawaiian boutique, open from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in an adjacent room, will feature island artwork by local and Pacific Islander artists including craft items, leis, clothing and snacks.

Funds generated by the events supports scholarships at the Concord Senior Center.  The center offers enriching educational and specialized instructional classes and trips that some seniors are not able to afford.  For ticket sales and additional information, call (925)671-3320 ext. 1 or visit www.cityofconcord.org/hawaiianfusion.
