Unseasonably Cool Week Ahead

Expect a bit rainfall early in the week.

Another few chilly days are forecast for the upcoming work week  because of a low pressure system off the coast of California. When this system moves eastward over Clayton, it will bring cooler daytime temperatures, wind and about a quarter inch of rain.

We will not see much blue sky over the next few days, which will prevent temperatures from getting much higher than 60 degrees. However, we will see rather warm nighttime temperatures because of the heavy cloud cover.  High winds also will keep temperatures high overnight.

Beginning Thursday, we should start to see more springlike conditions in Clayton.
