The Spring Housing Market is Already Blooming

Like the recent beautiful weather, the spring real-estate market has made an early appearance. Here's a sample of what's out there.

1455 Latour Lane, #41, Concord

$159,000

This quiet complex tucked away off Clayton Road and abutting Newhall Park is everything I look for when trying to find a great condominium or townhome for my clients. Passing the car wash and fast-food chain on the way in to the parking lot, you would never dream that such a great find is here. Latour Place is set back in a secluded dead-end court with no through traffic. A small, 44-unit community, it is particularly attractive and well-maintained and word has it, has a great homeowners board that does its best to keep the place in tip-top shape. The units are about 900 square feet with two bedrooms and one bath, but there is an additional vanity in the master bedroom. The lower units have a good-sized enclosed front patio and small backyard patio as well. The upper units have a large enclosed patio in front and a small balcony off the bedrooms in back. Many of the units back to bucolic views of Newhall Park.

Walnut Country, or the "Crossings" as it's  more commonly known, has so many benefits that it's hard to list them all, but here are just some: Residents get to send their kids to Foothill Middle School and in Walnut Creek, even though the neighborhood is in Concord, and , known for its high-level of parental involvement. The neighborhood also offers a preschool, a massive, meandering greenbelt and walking path, dotted along the way with rolling lawns,  playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts that look like they belong in Blackhawk, three beautiful pools, a clubhouse with pool tables, and other fun stuff, including a dog park.

This 2886-square-foot new listing in the Crossings also has a lot to offer — six bedrooms!
