Take Our Poll: How do You Feel About Flu Shots?

Flu shot clinic planned for next week.

CVS pharmacists will conduct a flu shot clinic Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Concord Senior Center from 9 to 11 a.m.

The shots will be available at the cost of $29.99 for 9-year-olds ad older.

Tdap vaccine, for ages 11 through 64, will also be available for $53.59 and pneumonia vaccine, for ages 65 and older, will be available for $95.99, according to the city. Pay or submit insurance forms at the clinic.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends persons over the age of 50; those with compromised immune systems; pregnant women; children under the age of five (especially two years and under) and those who work in the healthcare field to get an annual immunization against the flu.

But not everyone agrees for a variety of reasons. How do you feel?
