Sunny Days Are Coming

Expect some rain early in the week, but it should be sunnier as the week goes on.

The work week will start off a little windy and wet, but the clouds should clear as the week goes on. We will experience temperatures in the 60s during the day, as well as intermittent showers. Clouds should move out of the area overnight, and wind speeds will decrease, dropping temperatures into the 40s.

Another cold front will affect Clayton on Wednesday, though I'm predicting only a 20 percent chance of rain. Skies should clear again by the end of the week, but temperatures will remain cool.

We have had some wild weather with mild temperatures lately. This is due to the zonal flow in the jet stream, which allows for a variety of weather but nothing too severe. Weather models predict it to stay this way for the remainder of the month, which is appropriate for this time of year.
