The single-engine plane crashed at the end of a runway early Sunday morning.

A Clayton couple died when their plane crashed at the end of the runway at an Idaho airport Sunday morning, according to the Idaho Press-Tribune.

The Tribune reports that James and Shelia Veatch, ages 68 and 69, died when their singe-engine, home-built aircraft — a Kitfox-7 — crashed at Caldwell Industrial Airport, located about 30 miles outside of Boise, ID.

No one else was injured in the crash.

"As best we can tell, they were here for a Kitfox fly-in activity that occurred at the Homedale airport earlier this weekend," Caldwell Industrial Airport manager Rob Oates told the Tribune. "They were taking off to leave Idaho."

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
