Poll: Will You Occupy Concord Saturday?

Protest is planned for Saturday afternoon in downtown Concord.

Demonstrators are planning a rally and march at Todos Santos Plaza in downtown Concord on Saturday afternoon. 

While protesters keep a strong presence a few miles to the west in Oakland, "Contra Costa 99%" posted a flier on its website Thursday with a tentative itinerary that includes a march past "large banks and corporations nearby," here in Concord.

The rally will begin at noon, according to Contra Costa 99%'s website and will begin with speeches and performances.

The group has held its meetings in Concord four times so far at Todos Santos Plaza, where it has organized the and actions of solidarity for the Occupy Oakland movement.

The march will be a tour along Willow Pass Road to the Park N' Shop, toward BART, then back toward the downtown banks. It will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
