A plane allegedly stolen from Concord's Buchanan Field was found Sunday after aviation authorities investigated the circumstances of a fatal crash in Fresno.

The Cessna plane reportedly went down in the afternoon around 4 p.m. at the bank of a canal along Highway 99 in Fresno, where the deceased body of an unidentified male was recovered.
The plane's owner told authorities he noticed the plane missing from Buchanan Field Airport on Saturday, but didn't know where it was until aviation authorites contacted him after the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating this case and has not released information on the cause of the crash.
