- Why Go: Join STAND for Families Free of Violence to view the 83rd Academy Awards on the big screen. This fundraiser will feature a live simulcast of the Oscars, food, raffles and prizes.

- Where/When: ; Feb. 26 at 2 p.m.
- Why Go: Tour the historic Borges Ranch while learning what life was like there 100 years ago.

- Where/When: ; Feb 25 through March 3, multiple showtimes
- Why Go: The International Film Showcase brings “Illegal” to the theater. It’s about a strong-will Russian woman that has a prolonged stay in a Belgian immigration detention center.
