New Patch Features Worth Checking Out

Concord Patch has rolled out two new features worth checking out:

First, there is the Traffic & Gas button in our navigation bar at the top of the site. Click this to see a map that features live traffic status and road updates, such as accidents and construction. Below the map, which you can zoom in and out of, you'll also find a list of the least expensive gas stations in town. You can toggle between Concord and Clayton stations to find the best prices closer to where you live.

If you're ever running late and need to know which main arteries to avoid or where to save the most when filling up, make sure to check Concord Patch before hopping in the car.

Another new feature is the Neighborhod Gallery, a place where local shutter bugs -- amateur, professional or any other kind -- can upload photos taken in or around Clayton and Concord.

Next time you catch a beautiful shot of Mount Diablo, your kid performing at a local sports game or a newsworthy event, please share with all of us.
