- Why Go: Join the Dillon Moore Academy annual show for a celebration of Irish dance. It will feature lively music and colorful presentations of traditional and contemporary, award-winning dance.

- Why Go: Kids ages six to 10, visit Border's Books in Pleasant Hill for a Read Across America event. This special event celebrates reading — and the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Children can even submit a book review for publication on Borders.com.

- Why Go: The fantasy forum presents "Cinderella," a romantic story about a girl's dream to find her true love, and the attempts by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters to foil the plan. With the audience's help, Cinderella's fairy godmother makes her dreams come true.

- Why Go: Seven Hills School has simplified summer planning by bringing camps from all over the area to its campus. The camps cover all age groups and parents can gather brochures, and meet camp counselors and directors.
