It's Valentine's Day weekend, and we have a couple of ideas where to take your love

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Where/When: 1685 Mt Diablo Blvd, Walnut Creek; Friday through Monday for dinner

Where/When: Chabot Space & Science Center; Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m

Why Go: I know you have to go through the tunnel for this, but it looked too great to miss! Bring your valentine and view Mars while nibbling on tasty treats and sipping bubbly beverages. All couples will receive a souvenir of their space journey!

Pricing: $85 per couple/$80 per couple for members

3. Mt. Diablo Hike: Falls Trail to Back Creek Trail 

Where/When: Regency Dr., Clayton; Saturday, 9:00am–1:30pm

Why Go: This is the best time of year to enjoy Mt. Diablo's four spectacular waterfalls. The trails are filled with wildflowers, lush moss and ferns. 

Pricing: Free

Where/When: Main St.. Martinez; Saturday 2:00pm–5:30pm

Why Go: Spend a relaxing afternoon strolling the tree-lined streets in downtown Martinez while sampling wine at local businesses.

Pricing: $15 each in advance, $25 at the event

Where/When: Lesher Center; Sunday at 7:30 pm

Why Go: The Diablo Symphony will perform a Ballet Flamenco.
