Cooling Over Mother's Day Weekend
Expect the temperature to dip into the 60s for Mother's Day.
Although temperatures have been slightly above average lately, be prepared for it to cool down over the weekend. Temperatures have been about 10 degrees above average, but by Sunday it should be back down to the 60s, which is about 10 degrees cooler than average.
Friday looks to be a pleasant, typical spring day with a high temperature of 78 degrees and a low of 50. Expect a brief break in this enjoyable weather as a trough of low pressure cools things down a bit over the next few days. I forecast this system to bring clouds, cooler temperatures, higher wind and even a 5 percent chance of rain for Clayton. I anticipate mid-70 degree weather again by Tuesday.
