It's a self-guided tour, with six homes hosting gardens, four located in Clayton and two in Concord near the border.

It costs $30, and you'll see a variety of gardens. One home has an Asian influenced garden, another is Mediterranean and there's a traditional cottage garden with more plants than one can count.

The tour starts at 10 a.m. and goes to 4 p.m.

To cap the day, Clayton's Concert in The Grove series starts Saturday night.

The opening band of the year is Cover2Cover, a high-energy dance band that delivers a variety of music from five decades.

Chair and blankets can be set on the grass starting at 4 p.m. and the free concert is planned to go from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
