Toscana Closes, New Italian Restaurant Moving In

Blaming the tough economy, Toscana has shut its doors for good. Ravioli's Italian Marketplace will be relocating from Clayton Road to the space in Todos Santos Plaza.

Passersby have been stopping and staring in disbelief at the papered-over windows of Toscana this week. The Italian restaurant closed for good last Sunday evening, hanging a sign on the door that reads, "due to state of our economy, we are no longer able to stay open."

"They always seemed so busy!" said a commenter on the Concord Patch Facebook page.
