MetLife Buys Treat Boulevard Towers

Insurance giant buys pair of 10-story office buildings in Contra Costa Centre transit village.

With an insurance giant buying a pair of 10-story office buildings on Treat Boulevard, commercial real estate mavens must be pleased with a MetLife exec saying, “This Class A property fits very well with our strategy of buying and holding core assets in top-tier markets."

So said Jacqueline Denning, director of MetLife's regional office in San Francisco, according to the San Francisco Business Times. It's one of the biggest office sales in the East Bay this year, reported Bianca Torres of the Times. This is part of the sometimes-questioned Contra Costa Centre transit village built around the Pleasant Hill BART station.
