BART Malfunction Caused Delays

An equipment problem on BART tracks is delaying trains by up to 20 minutes Sunday afternoon, a dispatcher said. The delay was caused by a switching malfunction on the tracks between Millbrae Station and San Francisco International Airport, the dispatcher said. The problem was causing trains to be behind schedule between San Francisco and the East Bay on the Pittsburg/ Bay Point Line. Anyone traveling to SFO should allow for extra time, the dispatcher said.
