Zydeco Flames To Fire Up Todos Santos in Free Concert Thursday

The June 20 concert in the 2013 "Music and Market Series" brings Zydeco Flames to the Todos Santos stage for an evening of "sizzling" rhythms and "powerful" grooves.

The Zydeco Flames have been lighting up stages, dancehalls and festivals all over the country for almost two decades. The five-person band has produced six albums, the most recent of which was "Fire It Up" in 2006.

Concord's Music and Market Series runs through September and features a free concert every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Todos Santos Plaza. Many of the events are broadcast live, as well as rebroadcast, over Concord TV on Comcast channel 28, Astound channel 29 and U-Verse channel 99. The television schedule is available online on the city's website.
