Willows Theatre to Stage 'Nunset Boulevard' in November

Local show will be West Coast premiere of the latest 'Nunsense' musical

Concord's Willows Theatre will stage the West Coast Premiere of Nunset Boulevard next month with a full professional cast, the theater announced Tuesday.

It’s the latest in the string of Nunsense musical comedies, every one of which has played at the Willows Theatre since the 1980s, according to the theater's press rlease.

"Nunsense series creator Dan Goggin is in from New York to direct the latest show, with longtime favorite Deborah Del Mastro once more playing Sister Robert Anne, the tune-belting, wise-cracking, trumpet-playing nun who left her sandal-prints over all the previous Nunsense musicals," the release said. "Willows favorite Amy Washburn returns as Mother Superior."
