The folk singer from Concord set the mood Friday afternoon in Pleasant Hill with an acoustic set perfect for winding down the week.
The gentle strumming of Kevin Toqe's guitar resonated downtown Pleasant Hill early Friday evening, calling passersby to perch on the stone squares of May Crescent Plaza and relax.
Toqe, a 28-year-old singer-songwriter from Concord, has two albums — Love Is and Home Is — of uplifting folk tunes and Christian songs. Watch the video above to see Toqe perform "East Coast Storm" in our neighboring town.
