- Why Go: There’s beer! Sample more than 30 kinds of microbrews at this beer festival at Waterfront Park. Enjoy live music, and food to purchase. Some sample breweries: 21 st Amendment, Anchor, Black Diamond, Hoppy, Marin, Eel River.

Contra Costa Home & Garden Show

The Beauty of Mount Diablo Artists' Reception

- Why Go: The Lindsay Wildlife Museum is holding an opening reception for their new art exhibit. The exhibit will feature works from 13 artists and photographers depicting Mount Diablo wildlife and landscapes.
