The Concord Pavilion has announced the date for a free ticket give-away for Concord residents.
As one of the benefits of the recent contract between Live Nation and the City of Concord, the Pavilion is offering 250 free tickets for the Barry Gibb show on May 31 and another 250 tickets for the Lionel Richie show on June 1.
The tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of two per person, at the Concord Pavilion box office on Tuesday, May 27 from noon to 5 p.m.
Residents must bring a utility bill and driver’s license or other government issued ID with them to claim the tickets.
Live Nation has followed through on its promise to improve the facility, expand its line-up of concerts and make special accommodations for Concord residents!
The 2014 season launches Sunday, May 25 with the KBLX Stone Soul Concert where concert-goers will be the first to see the Pavilion’s impressive renovation. More than twice the number of concerts are already programmed than last year.
“We are pleased with the progress Live Nation has made as we work together to return the Pavilion to its former status as a much beloved community facility and regional attraction,” said Concord Parks & Recreation Director Joan Carrico.
Live Nation also launched a second program for Concord residents which allows them to purchase tickets from the box office on the day before the tickets go on sale to the general public.
A special resident hotline at (925) 363-5701 has information about presale dates. Non-residents and residents alike can buy tickets at the box office on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. without a service charge.
The Concord Pavilion box office is on the grounds of the facility at 2000 Kirker Pass Road.
Tickets are also available online at Livenation.com, Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
