• Why Go: East Bay Children’s Theatre (EBCT) will be presenting the original musical Beauty and the Beasty. Beauty and the Beasty is every bit as entertaining for the adults in the audience as it is for the kids.

• Why Go: The Easter Bunny will hop into his garden in Grand Court and offer a big friendly greeting and a free gift to every child who visits.

WALK AMONG THE WILDFLOWERS

• Where: Alhambra Ave & Franklin Canyon Road, Martinez; April 9, 9:00 a.m.  to 11:00 a.m.
• Why Go: Join a ranger for an easy saunter up Mt. Wanda to look for wildflowers. Mt. Wanda, a 326-acre open space, is part of the John Muir National Historic Site.
