Get Out: A Lot of Activities in the Creek This Weekend
Tons to do at Heather Farm — from synchronized swimming to horses to the FamilyFest

- Why Go: Walnut Creek FamilyFest offers a three-day weekend of quality live entertainment, activities and sports for children. There will be a Ferris wheel, pony rides, EuroBungy trampoline, Cap’n Hook Fun House, petting zoo, a giant slide and more.
- Price: $5 with a canned food donation, $6 without. Under 2 and seniors (65) are free.
- Where/When: ; Thursday, 7:30 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 p.m.
- Why Go: The synchronized swimming club, full of Olympic, national, and international Champions, performs “MJ Splash – an Aquatic Tribute to the King of Pop.”
- Price: Adults $20, kids (5-17) and seniors(62+) $15
- Where/When: ; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Why Go: An exciting horse show to watch, with horse jumping classes in the morning for both youth and adult riders and riding classes in the afternoon.

- Where/When: ; Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Why Go: Watch a horse show which features halter and trail (obstacle) riding classes in the morning and pleasure riding classes in the afternoon.

- Why Go: Go see the Soap Box Derby and Classic Car Show in downtown Clayton.
