Happy Halloween! Prep your candy and light your Jack o'lanterns. The little ghouls, ghosts and goblins are on their way. Where do you take the kids trick-or-treating?

Concordians, beware! Trick-or-treaters will be knocking for candy this Halloween and you better be prepared, or else... it's TP time.

There were 41 million trick-or-treaters across America last Halloween, according to the US Census Bureau. Because, after all, how can kids resist a chance to raid the dress-up box and run around town grabbing free candy?

The question is: which Concord neighborhoods have the best goodies, the scariest decorations and the most rambunctious Halloween spirit? Comment below and share your favorite streets to take the kids trick-or-treating, and why.

For Halloween events in and around town, check out the Halloween 2012 events planner. There's a free Halloween Carnival from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, the Concord Zombie Walk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Todos Santos Plaza, and Kay's House of Horror has its final run from dusk to 10:30 p.m. at 2801 Kay Avenue.
