Promises, Promises: Forecasters Say Sun Will Return

Soggy Concord is over a quarter-inch of rain this weekend.

After an unseasonably weekend absence, the sun is getting ready to return to the East Bay.

The weather readings at Concord’s Buchanan Field airport showed more than a quarter-inch of rain falling on Friday and Saturday, with a steady patter of light rain and mist from noontime Saturday into Sunday morning.
