Power Outage Leaves 3400 Customers in the Dark

The outage was first reported before 11 p.m. and a second outage was reported about 30 minutes later.

Thousands of PG&E customers in Contra Costa County, near Concord and Walnut Creek, were without power this morning due to two outages, officials said.

The first outage occurred at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday and is affecting roughly 1,500 customers. About a half hour later, at 11:14 p.m., another 3,400 customers went in the dark, according to officials.

Officials said both outages were expected to be restored around 2:15 a.m.

According to the PG&E outage map, most of the power had been restored this morning.
