The body of 77-year-old John McConeghy of Bay Point was found at the Military Ocean Terminal in Concord last week, according to the Contra Costa Sheriff's department. The man, who had dementia, was reported missing Oct. 15.

Stockton man pleads guilty to robbing Bay Area banks
A 22-year-old Stockton man pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to robbing six banks — including a Bank of the West branch in Concord — between February and March of this year.
