New Farmers' Market at Sunvalley Mall Starts This Saturday

The new Sunvalley Farmers' Market launches July 27 in the Sears parking lot on Contra Costa Boulevard.

A new farmers' market is opening up at the Sunvalley Mall this Saturday, July 27, providing another source for fresh and local fruits and vegetables.

The Sunvalley Farmers' Market will take place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Dec. 28 in the parking lot by Sears on Contra Costa Boulevard.

The new market is run by the Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association (PCFMA), which also runs two other markets in Pleasant Hill — the Downtown Pleasant Hill market from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturdays and the Pleasant Hill BART market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays.
