Valentine's Day is coming up, and a few lovelorn folks in Concord are reaching out via Craigslist. The site's Missed Connections section is the last-ditch hope for those who spied a potential match but couldn't get up the nerve to exchange contact information.
Here are a few of this week's Concord and Clayton posts:
At Benihana, Jan. 31: To the "beautiful brownhaired girl wearing a gray sweatshirt" -- I was sitting at the table with my family and couldnt stop looking at you. You looked so pretty. So natural. Just a beautiful girl! If you are interested at all you should get back to me. I think we would vibe amazingly well! Peace.
In line at Concord Produce, Feb. 1: Hey! I saw you there sat afternoon right before sunset! You were in front of me in line and when you drove away, we smiled at each other and I gave you a little wave!
At a stoplight on Clayton Road, Feb 2: We were at the light near Lucky on Clayton Road. Your window was down and we both turned and smiled at each other. You will need to describe yourself and your vehicle. I was in a black car. If you are reading this and you know that this is not you...then please, do not waste both of our time. Thanks.
Have you or a friend ever actually met someone via Missed Connections? Any love stories worth sharing? Tell us in the comments.
