Free Fruit & Veggie Fest Friday in Concord!

Demonstrations, fun for kids and free cookbooks!

Customers at FoodMaxx in Concord will enjoy food demonstrations, activities for children and free cookbooks at Fruit and Veggie Fest 2014, an event to help everyone fill their shopping carts with fruits and vegetables for their families. 

Nutrition experts from Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) will answer nutrition questions, talk with shoppers about the healthy choices in every aisle, and there will be a raffle with prizes including FoodMaxx gift cards. 

WHO: Everyone is invited to this free event. 

WHEN: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 2.

WHERE: FoodMaxx, 1751 Monument Boulevard, Concord.

Sounds like I should expect to get Free Fruits & Veggies on Friday. Or, do you mean Free admission?

Haha, Lynn. You're right. It's a "free festival," -- free demos, activities, cookbook, and, I'm only guessing here, maybe free samples. Thanks for helping me clarify!

I just get a little overwhelmed with things like "handicaped parking, hot water heaters, and blind schools". . . . In reality, the parking is for handicapped people, the heater is for cold water (you never need to heat water that is already hot), and the school isn't blind - it's for children who have disabilities. The news community has a responsibility to preserve our grammar . . . . Thanks!

Free is the modifier followed by 2 adjectives describing the noun. Yes, I know how to diagram sentences.
