Concord to Host PGA Qualifier at Diablo Creek Golf Course

Concord will host one of two Bay Area PGA Nationwide Tour TPC Stonebrae qualifiers Monday, April 9, according to city information.

The following information is provided by the City of Concord:

The City of Concord’s Diablo Creek Golf Course is pleased to announce that it will serve as one of two qualifying sites in the greater San Francisco Bay Area for the PGA Nationwide Tour TPC Stonebrae Qualifier slated for this Monday, April 9, which is being administered by the Northern California Section of the PGA of America.  Roughly 150 competitors from across the United States will be attempting to qualify for a spot in the PGA Nationwide Tour 2012 TPC Stonebrae Championship, on April 12-15 at TPC Stonebrae in Hayward, California.

Spectators are welcome at the qualifier on Monday, April 9.

About Diablo Creek Golf Course

is located at 4050 Port Chicago Highway, Concord.  First tee time is 7:30 a.m. and participants will be going off the front and back nine concurrently.  Spectators are welcome to follow the players, but carts will not be allowed.  Any questions, contact the Pro Shop at (925) 686-6267.
