Here are some details about this weekend's race-related festivities:

How to get to the Expo: The Expo has a new location: The San Francisco Design Center:
635 8th St., at Brannan Street.

Visitors are encouraged to take Muni. The N and T trains stop at Fourth and King Streets, four blocks from the Concourse building. The 9, 10, 19 and 47 bus lines also service the area. Check www.511.org to map your route.

There is a paid parking lot adjacent to the Concourse building with a limited number of parking spots, as well as metered street parking and other parking garages in the area.

What is there to do at the Expo?

  • Pick up your race packet (race bib, timing tag, race guide, etc.).
  • Pick up your participant T-shirt or pre-ordered tech T-shirt (you must have your race bib to pick up any shirt).
  • Solve outstanding issues at the Solutions Desk.
  • Purchase Bauer's or Muni shuttle stickers.
  • Enjoy the variety of outstanding exhibitors, food/beverage sampling and sports apparel for sale.
  • Purchase unique 100th Zazzle Bay to Breakers commemorative merchandise.
  • Enjoy the historic Zazzle Bay to Breakers retrospective exhibition featuring memorabilia from 1912-2011.

What is Footstock: Footstock is the free post-race party. It takes place in Golden Gate Park near the finish line Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year it will be in Speedway Meadow.

(Tip: If you want to see the winner — likely to be a fleet-footed Kenyan if past contests are any indication — get up early. That runner will probably cruise past the finish at 7:30 a.m. The finish line is right where Golden Gate Park meets Ocean Beach.
