Hospice Volunteer Needed

Mature individual, having a genuine interest in working in a hospice setting, needed for weekly visits at patients’ homes or skilled hospice facility.  Volunteer may provide companionship, spiritual support, respite for family members, and bedside vigils.  Volunteers need to successfully complete of the hospice’s volunteer training, screening, and orientation program.  Ability to work with an interdisciplinary group essential.  Candidates must be able to drive.  Patients are Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.  Please contact Belinda Sullivan by phone at 925-771-8295 or by email bsullivan@professionalhc.com for more information.
