Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Schedules Annual “Summer Clearance” Event!

Member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, maintain that there is a “cure for the summertime blues.”  The Lafayette landmark will hold its Annual Summer Clearance event from September 3 through September 7.    On Tuesday, September 3 through Thursday, September 5, ALL merchandise will be marked at half price.  On Friday, September 6, ALL merchandise will be marked at $2.00. On Saturday, September 7, you can fill an entire bag for a mere $5.00.  You’ll have plenty of warm, autumn days to wear your end-of-the-season finds, while the ever dependable “layered look” will see you through the crisp evenings.

By Tuesday, September 10, dedicated member volunteers will have placed fall merchandise on the floor that will include something for everyone.  So, you’ll want to take fashion awareness to a new level and start thinking about color, texture, patterns, sleeve length, collar style. 

September marks a time of year when you take inventory in that you store what you will need and discard those items that will no longer serve you.  Thrift shop member volunteers will gladly accept the latter and will give you a tax receipt in return.
