This March, the American Red Cross Northern California Blood Services Region will be holding its popular “Pint for Pint” promotion.
From March 1 through March 31, 2013, all presenting whole blood and double red cell donors at any Red Cross blood donation center in the Northern California Region will receive a coupon for a pint of Baskin-Robbins® ice cream.*
The Red Cross has blood donation centers in Oakland, Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, Newark and San Jose.
Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in some states), meet height and weight requirements (at least 110 pounds based on height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
