The former Concord private eye and Antioch police officer was expected to be released on a $1 million bail Friday, the Contra Costa Times reported.

A Concord resident and former private eye indicted by a Federal Grand Jury earlier this week plead not guilty to 13 counts Friday, according to the CoCo Times.

Butler is already out on a $900,000 bail in Contra Costa County.

Butler and former Contra Costa County Narcotics Enforcement Cmdr. Norman Wielsch were indicted Monday on charges that include running a brothel, selling drugs stolen from county evidence facilities, running "phony stings," among other accusations.
